Poseur

The embarrassing prospect of somebody reading somebody else's (my) private writing is not so much (at all?) the disclosure of secret thoughts or feelings but rather the laying bare of my self-conscious awareness of how I sound, how my life and thoughts sound, of the reader, the judge.
